Candle Against Psychic Attack

Use for warding psychic attacks
Set up three candles in a triangle form.

One candle being white, another red and the last black.

Light these candles and then imagine a blue ball energy inside them. Caress the candles as you chant:

"Goddess of Three,
I call upon thee, To protect from those who
wish to harm me.
Keep them from using
the gift from thee
Keep them from using
thy gift to harm me."

When you've finished this, imagine the blue ball of light exploding into lines of blue.

Imagine these lines surrounding you and wrapping you in warm blue energy.

See these blue lines as a shield. Know that is it unbreakable and think about how it's the Goddess' light protecting you.

Put the candles someplace where they can burn undisturbed. Let them burn themselves out, sending all the energy into your shield.

This spell is best performed during a full moon. For longer effects, you can make it a seven day spell.


Candle Spell For Well Being

This is a simple spell that can be used whenever you feel ill or "out of sorts".
You Will Need:

A Blue candle of any type
The Spell:
Sit quietly in a comfortable spot, and place the candle in front of you.

Concentrate on the wish for yourself, and meditate on the way you wish things to turn out.

When ready, light the candle and recite the following:

"I light this candle for myself to help bring peace and well-being. As the candle burns, so mote it be."


Continue to meditate on your wish as the candle burns down.


Cinnamon Spice Spell

This spell will add zest to your love life.
You Will Need:

3 Tablespoons Of Cinnamon Powder
A Red Handkerchief
230mm (9") Of Red Lace
The Spell:
Place the cinnamon powder in the handkerchief and tie it together using the red lace.

While within a silver pentacle circle of protection, energize the handkerchief and repeat:

"Spicing up my love life,
Fun in my heart,
Bring me excitement this spell will start,
So mote it be"

Carry the handkerchief in your bag.


Confidence Boosting

This spell will boost your confidence and encourage you to love and trust yourself.
You Will Need:

9 Silver Candles
A Large Mirror
Lavender Oil
A Pink Quartz Crystal
The Spell:
Arrange the candles to form a circle around yourself and the mirror.

Burn the lavender oil and cleanse the pink quartz crystal.

Cast a pentacle circle of protection and light the candles.

As you are sitting in front of the mirror, stare at yourself and recite the following:

"I Love myself,
I trust myself,
I have confidence in myself"

Then energize the crystal and repeat the incantation eight more times.

When you have completed the spell, wear the crystal close to your heart.

Leave the candles to burn down safely.


Crystal Healing

You Will Need:
3 candles- 2 light blue & 1 white
Allspice & Rosemary (equal parts each) or a Healing type incense
photo or paper with name of recipient
a small quartz crystal
The Spell:
Place the candles on your altar or workspace in a semi-circle with the white candle between the two blue ones. Place your incense burner above the white candle. Place the person's name in the centre of the layout, with the quartz crystal on top.

Light the incense then the candles. Centre yourself and inhale the incense as you think of all ill health dispelling from the person and instead being replaced by healing energy, much as the air is filled with the smoke of the incense.

Gather your healing energy and when you feel ready, release the energy, directing it through the crystal and to the recipient who's name or photo is beneath it.

Give the recipient the crystal to carry as a charm for continued good health.


Crystal Moon Spell

This spell is for meeting a suitable partner.
You Will Need:

A Silver Necklace With A Pink Quartz Crystal Embedded In It
A Few Drops Of Lemon Oil
The Spell:
On the night of a full moon, go outside and stand beneath the moon.

Rub a few drops of Lemon Oil into the Pink Quartz Crystal and then wear the necklace around your neck.

Cast your pentacle circle of protection; raise both your hands towards the moon and repeat outloud:

"I invoke the powerful Moon Goddess to cast this spell,
I wish to meet a suitable partner who will enrich my life.
So Mote it be"

Spend as long as you like experiencing the moons magick empowering you and your spell.

When you have finished, wear the necklace until you are satisfied that you have met someone suitable.


Crossing Paths Spell

You Will Need:
Yellow candles
Yellow or white thread
Needle
Picture of yourself
Picture of intended
Magnet or lodestone
The Spell:
On a night during the Waxing Moon, and preferably when the moon is in the phase of Gemini (for communication) gather the above ingredients and go to a place where you can be alone for at least 30 minutes.

Light the candles and hold the pictures within your hands and chant this charm:

"Image of me, Image of you,
Coming together, forming two."

As you say this, cut the images so the two of you are not part of the original photos any longer.

The pictures are then sewn together with the needle and thread.

The new photo is then placed on your alter, and atop should be placed a lodestone or magnet to draw the two of you together.

On the Full Moon of that month, light a yellow candle and place the charm underneath the candle to work your magick.

Say this to release the spell:

"A picture of you, a picture of me,
a picture of us, together shall be.
Come, if you will, to be with me,
this is my will, so mote it be."

Now that the magickal part is done, you must work the mundane part.

Write or call and ask to meet them. If they are not receptive to your offer, try again another time.

This spell is not meant to force the person to do anything they aren't willing to do so just let them know that your offer is always open.


Dragon Love Spell

Gather seven small stones and place them in a circle.
In the middle of the circle, scatter a handful of rose petals and apple seeds.

Place a lodestone directly in the middle of the circle.

Chant the following:

"Rose petals and apples
Dragons and stone
draw nigh true love
so I am no longer alone
Mist of the Dragon
Breath of the night
draw from the universe
Perfect love that is right. "


Ease A Broken Heart

You Will Need:
Strawberry Tea (1 Bag)
Some Salt (Sea Salt if you can get it)
2 Pink Candles
A Mirror
1 Pink Drawstring Bag
1 Quartz Crystal
A Copper Penny
A Bowl that is somehow special to you
1 Teaspoon of dried Jasmine, Rose, or Strawberry Leave
Some Rose, Strawberry or Cinnamon Oil
The Spell:
Charge all of the ingredients by first infusing them with your personal energy.

On a Friday morning or evening, when the moon is either new or waxing and close to being new, take a bath with a small handful of salt in it, in the light of a Pink candle.

As you dry off and dress, sip the Strawberry tea, apply make up or groom yourself to look your best.

Cast a circle around a table with the other ingredients, and light the second Pink candle.

Mix together all of the oils and herbs in the bowl, while you stir look at yourself in the mirror and say outloud:

" Oh, great Mother Goddess, enclose me in your loving arms and nurture and bring forth the Goddess within me"

Gaze deeply into the mirror after you have finished mixing the ingredients and say aloud:

" I represent the Great Goddess, Mother of all things, I shine in the light of the Golden Wings of Isis, all that is great and loving only belongs to me"

Then put half the mixture in the Pink bag and add the Penny and the Crystal, carry it with you always or until you find another love, leave the other half of the potion in the bowl, out in a room where you can smell the fragrance.


Healing Flames

This spell is for healing an illness, disease, boo-boo or whatever is physically wrong with you.
You Will Need:

a red candle
paper and pencil
a heat proof container
Optional: healing oil/herbs
The Spell:
Draw a picture of yourself with the illness, disease etc.

Illustrate the problem ...if you have a headache draw a hammer on your head or a nail in your forehead, worms for a virus etc.

Charge your red candle with healing energy (don't forget to cast a small circle first)

Take your picture and light the edge on fire. as you see it starting to burn, imagine the pain (disease etc) leaving your body.

Obviously it's going to get pretty hot, then drop it into the heat proof container (your cauldron should work nicely) now draw another picture of yourself, healed, better, happy.

Place this picture under the candle and let the candle burn down.

If you're like me and you hate to let candles burn down, simply leave it lit long enough to meditate on your purpose.


Magick Wood Spell

This spell will increase the love between you and your lover.
You Will Need:

An Athame
An Apple
A Piece Of Wood (Fallen From An Oak Tree
A Pinch Of Salt
1 Tablespoon Of Vervain
1 Tablespoon Of Yarrow
1 Tablespoon Of Rosemary
The Spell:
This spell can be performed either in the home, if you have an open fireplace, or out in the garden.

Begin by building a small fire.

Create a pentacle circle of protection and, using your athame, inscribe your name and your lovers name onto the apple. You can also add words such as 'love', 'trust', or 'passion' if you wish.

Repeat the previous procedure with the oak wood.

Now you are ready to place all the ingredients, including the wood and the apple, into the fire.

Spend some time observing the smoke rising from the fire, noticing the different shapes, which the flames form.

When you are ready, say the following:

"Mother goddess, bless this spell,
My lover and I shall be closer day by day,
So mote it be"

Leave the fire to burn down naturally and safely.


Modern Witches Healing Spell

To help speed recovery from an illness, write the sick person's name on a white human shaped candle of the correct gender.
As you anoint it with 3 drops of myrrh or mint oil, visualize healing energy in the form of white light flowing from your hands and into the candle. Recite:

"In the divine name of the goddess,
Who breathes life into us all
I consecrate and charge this candle'
As a magickal tool for healing"

Place the candle on top of a photograph of the sick person and then light the wick.

As the candle burns down, focus on the person in the photography, willing him/her to be well again.

Then recite:

"Magick Mend, and candle burn,
Sickness End, good health return"

Continue to focus and recite until the candle burns out on it's own.

(At this point I suggest taking the remains of the candle, wrapping it in clean white cotton and burying it outside therefore burying the sickness)


Money Drawing Spell

This spell will help when you want to attract money.
You Will Need:

Three Silver Coins (any kind of coin will do)
Your Pentacle
A Pen
Paper
A Magnet
The Spell:
When the moon is waxing first, write down in the notebook the amount of savings you have.

Everytime you make a deposit or put coins in your money box, add this sum to your little book. This will soon become a complete record of your finances.

And being able to see how your money is accumulating will be a great inspiration to you to keep saving.

Second, use this old witches' trick on all your money.

It is an old magickal way to protect your money and bring prosperity into your life.

Draw a tiny pentagram on all your notes and put a dab of patchouli oil on your coins.

This will ensure that money you spend will come back to you times three.

Go through your wallet or purse every evening, marking any unmarked notes and dabbing oil onto all your coins.


Mint & Money Spell

This spell will help to assist in bringing prosperity into your life.
You Will Need:

A Green Candle
A Bowl
Some Mint
Some Cinnamon
A Sheet Of Newspaper
A Craft Knife
Patchouli Oil
A Candle Holder
3 Silver Coins
The Spell:
This spell is best performed when the moon is waxing.

In the bowl, mix together equal amounts of mint and cinnamon, and spread out the sheet of newspaper in preparation.

Take up your inscribing tool and carve the amount of money you need into the wax of the candle.

Next dress the candle with patchouli oil until it is completely covered.

Pour the mixed herbs onto the sheet of newspaper and gently roll the candle over them. The herbs will stick to the oil. Continue to roll until the candle is completely covered, and return the remaining herbs to the bowl.

Now put the candle into a holder and place 3 silver coins around it to form a north-facing triangle.

North is the direction of earth, and is associated with prosperity and abundance. Remember to keep your focus strong and clear.

Light the candle and take up the bowl of herbs. Go around your home in a clockwise direction, scattering small pinches of the herbs in all corners, and on doorsteps and windowsills.

If a few herbs remain, scatter them at your garden gate, or at the entrance to your property.

Leave the spell candle burning to do its work.

Afterwards, place the coins in a special place where you will not be tempted to spend them.


New Moon Resolution

When you are working hard to change a particular aspect of your life, give yourself a boost at the time of a new moon, reaffirm your conviction or promise with this simple spell.
You Will Need:

A Dark Purple Candle
White Thread
The Spell:
Wrap the thread around the candle about a third of the way down. Light the candle and begin to breathe.

Stare into the aura emanating from the flame. Say to yourself:

"Great goddess,
Attune me to the energies of the newly walking moon.
Diminish my bane by the time she must wane,
I am committed to this change,
Though weak at times,
But success will be mine with careful thought and strength of mind
It is my will, so mote it be.
Blessed be"


Red Heart Spell

This spell will help patch up an argument with your lover.
You Will need:

9 Heart Shaped Floating Candles
A Large Glass Bowel Filled With Water
The Spell:
Begin this spell on a Friday night.

Energize all the candles with loving energies and repeat the following while thinking about your lover:

"Lover be safe, lover be true,
Lover come back and thrill me through.
Embrace me in your arms and envelope me in your love,
Let the fire in our hearts bring back joyous love,
So mote it be"

Spend a few minutes thinking about the words you have said, then place the candles into the bowel, light them and repeat the above incantation.

Imagine you and your lover patching up the argument.

Leave the candles to burn down naturally.


Self Esteem Spell

You Will Need:
A Bath
7 Green Oak Leaves (Or Bay leaves if these are out of season)
Lavender Oil
A Purple Candle
A Yellow Candle
Jasmine Oil
Purple Thread
The Spell:
Run the bath to a depth and temperature of your liking. Put the lavender oil and oak leaves into it, swish it around, then light the candles and climb into the bath. Close your eyes (but don't fall asleep). Begin to breathe, breathe in a warming Orange light of confidence, and breathe out murky coloured self-doubts.

Imagine a yellow light above your head, which slides down your body, touching every bit of you from top to the tips of your toes. Continue to breathe in slowly through your nose and out through your mouth.

Say outloud:

"I am gorgeous,
I am beautiful,
I am Goddess"

Repeat this six times in total.

When you leave the bath, snuff out the candles and thread the oak leaves on the purple thread. Then, whenever your self-esteem fails you, heat jasmine oil in an oil burner, light the candles, hold up the oak leaves and repeat the chant.

When the leaves eventually run out, begin again with new oak leaves and new candles.

The oak leaves may be carried with you (in a small box or envelope) in your handbag / bag on (all sorts) of important dates. When touching up your make - up, or getting ready just get out the oak leaves and repeat the mantra to spur you to greater things.


Hexing Spell

Warning: This spell WILL have Repercussions. Please use Wisely and remember the Three Fold Law. Use At Own Risk
Anoint a black candle with the oil and as it's lighted, repeat this affirmation:

"Damn the foe who has harmed me,
May evil return to it's source ten fold.
Let the sufferings intended for me be visited upon the perpetrator."


Stay Away Binding Spell

To be done on a Saturday night during the Waning Moon
You Will need:

A picture of the intended
Black cloth
Black thread or cord
A picture of yourself
White candles
The Spell:
Place white candles about your alter. Cast the circle and try to relax your mind and concentrate on the work to be done. Take the picture of the intended in your hands and say:

"________, Stay away!
You are not welcome, this I say!
________, Go away!
You cannot harm in any way!"

Wrap the black cloth around the picture and bind it with the cord or thread.

Say this:

"You who would harm, you who would maim,
If you proceed, You'll face the same.
With cloth and cord, of darkest night,
I've bound your deed, with shining light.
You cannot harm, so stay away,
I am protected, both night and day."

With this, the spell is done.

Put the package into the freezer until morning, and then throw it in the garbage somewhere away from you & your property.

Leave without looking back.

Carry the picture of yourself on your person, knowing that you are now protected from their harm & that they will bother you no more.


Tarot Card Blessing

This is a blessing to say when you are shuffling tarot cards, to make the reading work out better, and to see the meanings of the cards more clearly:

"Silver moonlight, and Sunlight of Gold,
Light my way clearly as the cards unfold,
Show me the subconscious,
And secrets untold,
Show me what the past, the present and future doth hold,
Let me see clearly the cards meanings,
Be they bright and warm, dark or cold,
God and Goddess be with me, and bless me
As the cards unfold.
So Mote it be!"

Waning Moon Luck Changer

When the Moon is waning, go outside and open your arms to Her.
Silently communicate your problems--how badly people treat you, how you can't seem to get ahead, and all the other rotten stuff that has been going on with you.

When you can think of nothing else to tell the Moon, fervently chant:

"Moon of finest silver, wane--
Take with you bad luck and bane.
As you go, so does all ill--
So mote it be, Moon, as I will!"


 

Healing Spell

When to do it: Whenever necessary! A waxing moon is great, but never let timing stand in the way of a spell you need to perform right now.

You will need:

Poppet (small doll)
Magnetic lodestone
Green ribbon
Willow bark herb
Garlic cloves
Mint herb
Yellow candle
Blue candle
Piece of Amber
Piece of Carnelian
Piece of Sodalite
Here’s what to do:

Personalise the doll to represent the subject of the healing. Add yarn to match the person’s hair; use markers or embroider appropriately coloured eyes, and other distinguishing features (beard, birthmarks, whatever).
Carve a cadeuceus on each of the candles. The cadeuseus is a symbol of healing. As you do so, empower the candles with your desire to see the subject healed.
Empower your supplies: run your fingers through the herbs and the stones, putting that same desire for healing into them.
Unpick a seam in the side of the poppet. Place the lodestone, the herbs and the stones inside it, visualising the healing energies of them all infusing the body of the subject to be healed. Sew the seam up again.
Take the green ribbon and empower it as well. Tie it around the area to be healed.
Light the yellow and blue candles, chanting:
Herbs of health, stones of healing,

End of illness be revealing

Pain and sickness be dispelled,

(Subject’s name) is whole and well!

So mote it be!

Hold the doll and visualise the subject well again, doing all the things s/he usually does with full vigour and happiness.
Place the doll between the two candles and allow them to burn down.
When complete, wrap the doll up in white cloth and keep it in a safe place or give it to the subject. If you keep it, when the subject has completely healed, hold the doll in your hands and say aloud, “This is no longer (subject’s name).” Remove the identifying traits on the doll, unpick it and scatter the stones, herbs, and the bits of the doll in moving water with thanks to them and the gods for their aid.


Boost Your Self-Confidence

You will need:

Gold candle
Small round mirrored compact
Quartz point (leave in the sun all day to absorb solar energy)
Holy water
Lavender, dragon's blood, patchouli (blend these into a very fine powder)
Here’s what to do:

Bless ingredients. Empower candle with your intent to improve your self-confidence. Pry mirror out of the compact and purify it with the holy water. Burn a pinch of the herbal powder on charcoal, and sprinkle a pinch in the compact where the mirror will go. Glue the mirror back inside.

Gaze into the mirror and chant,
I am great! I'm the best!
In fact I outshine all the rest!
Pretty/Handsome, witty, graceful, smart,
Smooth and balanced, lots of heart!

Chant, chant, chant till you have fun and stop feeling silly. Dance! Smile! Empower the crystal with this feeling, and with solar energy. Carry in a pouch along with the mirror. When you feel yourself shrinking away or being shy, take them out; hold the quartz point and look into the mirror and remember that you're aces!

Do this spell when the moon is new or in the first quarter, and at moonrise. Definitely do this when the moon is Leo!
