Love powder
 

Love powder can be clandestinely sprinkled on the belongings of a desired person and then un your own underwear drawer to forge a psychic love bond between you.
This particular recipe is from the Caribbean and involves a number of herbs and oils.

You Will Need:

A Handful Of Talcum Powder
5 Drops Of Rose Oil
5 Drops Of Sandalwood Oil
7 Drops Of Lavender Oil
A Teaspoon Of Powdered Cardamon Seed
A Teaspoon Of Powdered Allspice
A Teaspoon Of Crushed And Dried Lavender
A Teaspoon Of Crushed And Dried Rose Petals
A Little Jar
The Powder:
Mix all the ingredients together in a ceramic bowl with a fork.

As you mix, visualise warm pink light building and radiating out from the powder.

Gently pour the powder into a little jar and take it with you to sprinkle a little on the belongings of the person you desire.

Be sure to sprinkle a pinch of the powder on yourself every day after bathing.

This powder may also be used in a little charm to keep a friend or lover thinking about you while he or she is absent.

Place a small mound of the powder on the palm of your hand while standing within a sunny spot in a natural setting.

Blow a little of the powder towards each of the four cardinal points (North, East, South and West), willing the beloved to feel the pull of your love and soon return.

*The most effective magickal charms, powders and oils intended for use in love magick are said to be created on a Friday, the sacred day of the planet Venus, the astrological patron of love.
 

Protection Powder

To protect against all sorts of calamities and negative influences.
Sprinkle around the outside of your house to act as a barrier.

Use Equal Amounts Of:

Dragon's Blood
Sandalwood
Salt
[If you don't have a tool for this, Mix in a bowl, jar, Etc]

Spell for Self-Confidence

You will need:
Four objects connected with your skills or successes
red cloths for wall hangings and the altar
brass candlesticks with red candles
a large golden sun symbol, if you can make or find one
red clothing for yourself
The Spell:
After the circle is cast, the Quarters called and Deities invoked, pick up the first of your success objects and face the East. Display it to the Guardians of that Quarter, and explain what it is and how it represents a success in your life.
Say aloud:

"I am Confident!"

Visualize the energy before you, and inhale deeply, saying in a strong voice,

"I have the power of Air!"

Repeat the process in the South(Fire), the West(water), and the North(earth). Then stand in the centre of the circle, surrounded by your power objects, and meditate on all that you have achieved in your life: the obstacles you have overcome, the goals you have attained. If you wish, play stirring music while you do this.
Then lift your arms and say in a mighty voice,

"I am Spirit!"

Wear something red on yourself for the next six days.

Simple Love Spell

You will need:
A rose quartz crystal
A pink or red candle
Rose incense
and some love to give
The Spell:
Light the incense and the candle. Think of all the good things love will give. Take the crystal and hold it close to your heart while saying:

I raise my voice to the Goddess
And the God to help in the
Manifestation of love in my life.
I know that I am ready for the
Give and take of love.
I put my faith and trust in you
With the knowledge that the one
You bring is worthy of the gift of love
That I shall give.

Amethyst Spell

This spell will remind your lover of you.
You Will Need:

A Piece Of Amethyst
A Framed Photo Of You And Your Lover
The Spell:
Go shopping for a piece of Amethyst. It can be any size as long as it catches your eye.

Take it home and wash it with salt and water.

While squeezing the Amethyst, repeat these words:

"Near or far, I shall be in the good part of your memory,
Remember me in your heart, that we shall never part,
So mote it be"

Then place the Amethyst in front of the photograph and draw a circle of protection around the picture and the piece of Amethyst.

Remember always to add that you wish the spell to happen in a good way.

Ani-Hex Spell

If you appear to be overrun with bad luck or you don't seem to be getting on with people, maybe its because someone is wishing you ill.
If this cannot be resolved through friendship, or you don't know who is responsible for your troubles try this spell.

You Will Need:

A Small Apple Twig
A Hair From Your Head
The Spell:
Wrap the hair around the twig while saying:

"Whoever it is that vexes me,
Could vex themselves by the power of three.
As I wish them no harm, I'll bind their power,
To the safety of a neutral tree"

Place the twig and hair in the branches of a nearby tree.

Protection Bottle Spell

You will need:
4 tbsps Frankincense or Myrrh
4 tbsps Black powdered Iron
4 tbsps Sea Salt
4 tbsps Orris-root Powder (or oak moss)
1 white candle
1 bottle with a cork or lid
Mortar and pestle
Parchment Paper
Black Ink or black ballpoint pen
Black thread
The Spell:
Used to neutralize the power of those who intend to do you physical harm, or hurt your reputation, or in any way pose a threat to your security.

Mix the sea salt, orris-root powder, and the iron in a bowl. Then cut a piece of parchment to fit inside your bottle and write on it with black ink: ,p> I neutralize the power of (name of adversary) to do me any harm. I ask that this be correct and for the good of all. So mote it be!

Roll up the parchment, tie it with a black thread to bind it, and place it in the bottle. Fill the bottle with the dry ingredients. Then take the white candle and while turning the bottle counter clockwise, drip the wax over the cork to seal it. Last, secretly bury the bottle in a place where it will not be disturbed and no animals or people will dig it up. This spell is like a genie in a bottle. It should never be unleashed or the power of the spell is lost.

Attract Love

You will need:
A blank sheet of paper
Scissors
A small wooden or cardboard box
¼ cup of dried pink rose petals
2 pink quartz crystals
A ring for the finger
A pink candle
The Spell:
This needs to be performed after the sun has set.

First, you must "charge" the objects listed above with love.

This you do by concentrating on the objects and visualizing love entering your life.

Next, cut out a paper heart on which you will then draw two hearts intersected. Place the paper in the box.

Hold the dried rose petals close to your heart for approximately one minute before depositing them in the box.

Place the crystals in the box.

Now, by hold the ring in your hands and repeat 3 times:

"Symbol of love, send me my love"

Then, gently place the ring in the box.

Light the candle and set it to the left of the box. Allow the candle to burn exactly 13 minutes, during which time you must visualize love entering your life.

After exactly 13 minutes, extinguish the candle and close the lid on the box.

Repeat the ritual of the candle burning, leaving the box closed, every evening until the candle is completely consumed.

Once the candle has burned down to a height of less than approximately one inch, remove the ring from the box and carry it with you.

Bury the box with the remainder of its contents.

Your love should not delay.

Attract Friends

This spell will help you to meet and draw to you new friends.


The Spell:
To draw new friends into your life repeat these words while the moon is waxing as many times as you can while remaining focused:

"Like pebbles on a beach,
New friends I will reach.
Like soft grains of sand,
Between sea and land.
New friends come to me,
Like waves on the sea.
Endlessly driven,
Ceaselessly given.
Companions I need,
So I'm planting the seed.
As the moon shines above,
Friendship is love.

If you can, say these words on a beach or near a source of water - the bath will do just fine.

Attraction Spell

You Will Need:
An Orange candle
A Small Seashell
A Lighter or Matches
Some Cinnamon (in a bowl)
A Spoon
Dried Red Rose Petals
The Spell:
Light the Orange candle, then take the small seashell and pass it three times through the flame, as you do this say each time:

" By the power of three,
So make it be"

Take a handful of Cinnamon and using the spoon and the bowl, mix it with the Dried Red rose petals.

Sprinkle the shell with some of the mixture and imagine yourself attracting many different people.

Take the rest of the mixture and toss it into the wind to carry your request to the God and Goddess.

Then carry the shell with you in a pocket or a purse at all times.

Banish Debt

You Will Need:
A piece of rolled parchment
One black pen
One purple candle
Banishing Oil
Banishing Incense
Suggested Correspondences:
Moon Phase: Full (for more power) or Dark (to banish)
Day: Monday (Family), Saturday (banish) or Sunday (Success).
Planet: Moon (for family), Saturn (to banish), Sun (Success), Mars (fast action) or Uranus (change)
Deity: Juno (Goddess of Gold)
Elements: Air
Directions: Cleanse and consecrate all supplies
List all your debts on the parchment.
Draw a banishing pentacle on the back of the parchment. Carve a banishing pentacle on the candle. Place the rolled parchment in the candleholder then tighten candle on top.

Think of banishing your debts.

Think of the feeling of happiness and relief when the debts are banished.

Light the candle.

Take the candle to the East quarter and ask that the Sylphs send your message of banishment out to the universe in a safe and protective way, and ask that prosperity return to you in the same manner.

Put the candle back on the altar and, in your own words, ask Juno to banish the debt and replace it with prosperous energy.

Allow the candle to burn completely.

The paper will catch fire, so watch what type of holder you are using (glass will break) and that the candleholder is on a fire safe surface.

As the candle burns, concentrate on banishing your debts, your feelings of relief and happiness, and the coming prosperity.

Banish Illness

You Will Need:
A Black Candle
A Banishing Incense
A Banishing Oil
The Spell:
Burn the black candle anointed with banishing oil and burn the banishing incense.

Concentrate on removing whatever the health problem may be by saying:

"As this candle burns,
So the illness turns.
Melted like this wax,
Cut like with an axe.
Remove and banished,
All disabilities vanished.
As my word you see,
Radiant health blessed be"

Let the candle burn until done. Then bury the ashes from the incense and any remaining wax.

Basil Protection Spell

To be done during a Full Moon
You Will Need:

one white candle
one carnation flower
Basil
The Spell:
Place the carnation in the bowl of consecrated water, and set the basil in front of the white candle.

Light the candle ,breathe deeply and clear your mind. Begin to concentrate on the powers of protection, visualize a strong shell surrounding you, glowing hot.

When this has been accomplished, say in a powerful voice:

"I call on the guardians and on the power of the Lord and the Lady.
I surround myself with the protection of fire.
I am supported by the strength and grace of earth.
The winds bring me gentle shifts and the water's flow eases the energy in this time.
I believe in this protection and I release my fears, so that I may connect to the pulse of life.
May this be done within the greater good,
So mote it be, so be it should!"

Let the candle burn for as long as you like.

You can take this opportunity to meditate and release the spell into the cosmos.

When you are ready, snuff out the candle.

Keep this candle and burn it during meditation whenever you feel a need for extra protection.

When the candle has eventually been burned completely, repeat this spell if you feel the need.

When done, take the basil and scatter it on the ground under the light of the full moon.

The spell is complete.


Basic Love Knot

You Will Need:
3 Cords/Strings [Preferably colours that make you think of love & passion]
The Spell:
Take the three cords or strings of various, pleasing colours that make you think of love & passion - such as pink, red and purple- and braid them tightly together while thinking of your hearts desire.

Firmly tie a knot in the middle of the braid while thinking of your need for love.

Next, tie another knot, and another, until you have tied seven knots.

Wearer carry the cord with you until you find your love.

After that, keep the cord in a safe place, or give to one of the elements- burn and scatter the ashes in the ocean or in a stream.


Become Calm

You Will Need:
A very smooth, rounded stone smaller than your fist.
Some soothing music. [Whatever you enjoy the most]
The Spell:
Sit while holding the stone and listening to the music in a quiet room at home, or in the outdoors if the weather is nice.

Breathe deeply and rhythmically. Begin inhaling through your mouth, then exhaling through your nostrils with a long, steady humming note.

With each exhalation, make the note smoother and draw it out longer. Breathe your tension and anxiety into the stone, when you feel calm and centred put the stone on the ground, open the circle and walk away.

The Stone will dissipate the tension into the earth, to be transmuted; if you wish, you can retrieve the stone in a day or two for later use


Bless A Room

This spell is to bless a room.
(Place a white, red, or black candle in the centre of the room)

"God and Goddess bless these walls, may no evil spirits enter without call. May no enemies pass through this way-"

(sprinkle salt in a strong line across doorway and continue.)

"In order to promote harm on any future day. Let this be a sacred place, and let all who enter be of true face. Let no shadows dwell in it's corners unwelcomed.

(Go to the north wall, sprinkle basil.)

"I call upon Earth to protect this wall, may my room be a safe haven for all."

(Go to east wall and sprinkle basil.)

"I call upon air to protect this wall, may my room be a safe haven for all."

(Go to south wall, sprinkle basil.)

"I call upon fire to protect this wall. May my room be a safe haven for all."

(Go to west wall, sprinkle basil.)

"I call upon water to protect this wall, may my room be a safe haven for all."

(Return to the centre of the room, stand in pentagon form [feet spread shoulder width hands extended out to the sides and visualize white light spreading out from your body, illuminating the entire room.)

"My spirit is pure and I mean no evil. Goddess and God let creatures see your light and love. So by the powers of earth and sky, below me and above. Bless this space, make my words done." "So mote it be."


Binding Spell

This spell will assist you in stopping one who means you harm.
You Will Need:

A Black Candle
A Craft Knife
Black Thread
The Spell:
This spell is best performed on a dark moon.

Inscribe the candle with the name of the person or people who mean to harm you.

If you do not have a name, inscribe a question mark.

Take a very long piece of black thread and begin to wrap it around the candle, slowly repeating the following:

"Take them, bind them, round and round,
Stop them; gag them, free from sound.
I take the fire from the south,
And purge the evil from their mouth.
I take the hatred from their heart,
And there the seed of love doth start.
Until they come in gentle guise,
Remove this person from my eyes.
Bind them, wrap them, tie them tight,
Remove this person from my sight"

Continue until all the thread is wrapped around the candle.

Now light the wick, place the candle in the bath and leave it to burn.

This spell should take effect within 48 hours.


Book of Shadows Blessings

You can say this blessing over your Book of Shadows:
" In the realm of magick this book shall reside.
No one but the chosen shall see what's inside.
If breath be to air as passion to fire,
Let harm come to none, this is my desire.
If life be to earth as water to emotions,
This book be filled with magickal potions.
May the Gods protect it, keep it from harm,
And upon it bestow power, magick and charm.
No one without wisdom shall peer at it's pages,
Or the knowledge inside handed down through the ages.

The knowledge obtained through blood, sweat& tears,

Bring Out Love Of Another

It does not interfere with another's free will.
All it does is give them the courage to state what is on their mind.

It is done when you feel very strongly that the person is in love with you but that they hesitate to say so.

If it turns out that they are not in love with you after all, then it simply won't work, so that's why it doesn't exert undue pressure.

This should be done at the same hour on seven consecutive Fridays, ending on the one closest to the Full Moon (before the moon reaches full, not just after).

Take a pink candle and mark six rings around it, at equal distances apart. This will give you seven sections of a candle.

Light the candle and call out the name of the one you think loves you. Then say:

"Gana, be with me in all that I do.
Gana, please bring me a love who is true.
Give him (her) the strength to put into words
His (her) fee, lings, and sing like the song of the birds. "

Think about the person for a few moments - think of them coming to you and declaring their love then repeat the chant.

Keep doing this until the candle has burned dawn to the first line.

Then extinguish the candle (by pinching it out, never by blowing) and put it away till next week.

On the final week, keep it up until the candle burns itself out.


Candle Of Serenity

Use for easing of problems
Preferably performed just before the New Moon: the waning moon will help the problems dissipate.

Use when everything seems to be going wrong, your self-esteem is low, and everything and everyone around feel imbued with negativity.

Have a plate or ashtray nearby, and 7 pieces of paper (not to big).

Light a green candle and meditate on the problems afflicting you.

If needed, write these down on pieces of paper.

Light each piece of paper, one by one, and set them on the plate to burn, repeating the following over and over:

"Let my spirit be free as the wind
that can be harnessed but never tamed
Let the fears and dark thoughts that burden me
dissipate as light smoke in the breeze
Let all evil directed at me
turn to ash before my inner flame"

Continue repeating these words and focus on the burning paper, visualizing the negativity turn to smoke and ashes.

You should feel yourself growing lighter.

Let the fire go out by itself, and meditate a moment to purge any negative feelings that have remained in you.

Dispose of the ashes in running water and/or setting them to the wind. Make sure no ash is left on the plate.

Keep the candle and light it and meditate every time you feel negativity taking over you again.
